BoxwoodThe complex where I live has lost a substantial number of mature boxwoods. Two died last year in front of my place. I've been using the kelp extract as a foliar spray every two weeks on the remaining two and I'm amazed at how healthy and green they are today. - JR, User, June 2006 Product Ordering
Kelp extract is completely water-soluble so you only need to add it to the right amount of water using the small white scoop that is included. Each scoop will hold about 0.06 grams of powder. To use kelp extract you can either spray it on the plant (dilution of 3000-500 times). or water the plant with it (dilution of 10 000 times). To explain what dilution means if you are talking about a dilution of 20 then for 1 gram of powder you would add 20 times more water, that is 20 grams or 20 milliliters of water. So for a dilution of 3000 then 1 scoop of powder will be about 0.06 grams. Multiply that by 1000 so we would have 60 grams or 60 milliliters of liquid; so 1 scoop diluted 3000 times would be 180 milliliters or 0.18 liters.
